Mike grew up with the blues...Jimmy Reed and the Allman brothers playing on the speakers. His father Joe showing him the pure crisp tones that pour out of vintage guitars. Allowing him to appreciate all of the incredible musicians that devoted their lives to keeping the blues alive. They won the Hudson Valley Blues competition with their previous band "Menza Madison Band". Opening for several class acts including Coco Montoya, Bruce Katz and Scott Sharrard from the Gregg Allman Band. Mike and Joe were featured on rockin roll hall of famer Dion DiMucci's album "Stomping Ground" that hit #1 on the Billboard Blues charts. They played soulful guitar solo's on the tune "I've got to get to you" with Dion and Boz Scaggs on vocals.
His mother Jill has also been working very hard on brining an incredible play to broadway theaters "The Wanderer" . A ground breaking musical about Dion DiMucci's life.
Mike's mission is to honor all of the blues and rock'n roll musicians that have influenced him, and bring the blues into the light for the new generations to come.
