Mike Menza Music

Mike plays in an awesome blues band out of New York that goes by the name of "Backbone".  A rock and roll band that has a deep respect for the blues and a commitment to keeping it alive. The band is composed of a father and son Joe and Mike Menza, who were recently featured on Dion DiMucci’s latest album “Stomping Ground”.  They share a deep passion for vintage guitars and the rich history of blues music.  Rich Sarles and Tim Chanowitz holding down a power house rhythm section of bass and drums.  

They have crafted a sound that pays homage to the great blues legends. Their music is a blend of traditional blues, soulful vocals, electrifying guitar riffs and harmonies that capture the essence of rock and roll….

Also Mike and Joe have a Youtube channel where they feature rare vintage guitars.  Highlighting some of the 1950's and 1960's Gibson and fender guitars that allowed musicians to shape the pure sounds of blues & rock'n roll.  See the YouTube link above and tune in to the latest episode!
